PE and Sport Premium

The PE and Sport Premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the physical education, physical activity and sport that they offer their pupils. The premium must be spent on making additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of all pupils to encourage the development of healthy active lifestyles.

At Edith Neville, we have been improving our clubs offer in order to encourage more children to participate in physical activity before and after school. We have also introduced swimming lessons in all of our classes (from Nursery to Year 6). We also arranged CPD for teachers so all children have access to high quality PE lessons and updated playground equipment.  Continued CPD for teachers will ensure changes made are sustainable.
