RE

At Edith Neville Primary School children learn about Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Hinduism. This helps them grow into understanding, tolerant and respectful young adults. Religious education also supports children in developing their own values and principles as well as contributing to their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

We approach RE lessons through concepts, beliefs and values. Lessons are fun and draw out the similarities between different people and cultures as well as our exciting differences.

We have assemblies every day. Assembly is an opportunity for reflection, sharing our schools values and personal development. Families, staff and children come together as a school community, to learn about different religions, key celebrations and festivals for all faiths and to reflect on important ideas and events across the world. Every friday our assembly celebrates the many achievements of our wonderful children.
