Hi everyone,
It feels so strange to think that today is the first day of our Easter holidays. While we obviously don’t expect the children to continue their work every day over the holidays, we do recognise that many of them will get quite bored at home without having a routine or structure to their day.
In the parents section, under “things to do at home”, teachers have prepared some ideas for holiday home learning projects .
There are also lots of ideas for activities you can do as a family. We have tried to find activities which only need items you would have in your houses already.
We have been busy recording lots of stories for you so that the children continue to have access to books over the holiday. Send us an email telling us which ones were your favourites.
It’s especially important that we keep active while at home. This is not only great for your physical health but your emotional wellbeing too. Visit the “keep fit” section to get some ideas.
Over the Easter holiday, you can still get in touch with us if you need anything urgently. I will be checking the class emails daily so you can get in touch that way and someone will call you back wherever possible. Children will get feedback on their easter projects once the new term has started.
Have a lovely holiday and I hope we all see each other again soon!
