Term ends on Tuesday 21st July for the summer holidays. I hope you all have a lovely break, manage to get some rest and get outside to enjoy the sunshine. I will miss you lots over summer, but can't wait to see you all again in September when I come and visit you in Reception. I hope you will have lots of stories to tell me :)
Thank you for all the amazing work you have been sending me during lock down. It has been an absolute joy teaching you this year and although I feel sad that we didn't get to finish the year all together in class, I still feel so proud of each and every one of you.
Try to keep your brains and bodies busy over summer. I will be posting some activities for you to try every week until we go back to school. Make sure you keep a good routine and get to bed on time, as this will help to prepare you for your return to school.
For now, though, why not celebrate all your learning and finishing your first year at Edith Neville! Think of all the things you can do now that you couldn't do a year ago! You could play some party games with your family like:
*Musical statues *Musical bumps *Simon says
*Egg and spoon race *Duck, duck, goose *Sleeping lions
*Pass the parcel *Treasure hunt *What's the time Mr Wolf?
Have fun and stay safe.
Lots of love,
