Music is taught at Edith Neville School by a specialist. Each child (from Nursery to year 6) receives a weekly music lesson and attends a fortnightly singing assembly. Children in Year Five also receive drumming lessons at our local secondary school Regent High.
Music at Edith Neville is a creative and enjoyable activity, as well as a highly academic and demanding subject. It also plays an important part in helping children feel part of our community. We provide opportunities for all children to create, play, perform and enjoy music. Our Christmas shows are a wonderful example of when all children have the opportunity to learn and perform musically together.
